Research Day
I loved having the day to work on my assignments. When starting, I was somewhat frustrated. Like my students, I thought it would be a snap to find everything I was looking for right away. Of course, that didn't happen; however, as I continued to work, I began finding things that I needed. I'm sure like all of you, I needed this time. Have a great weekend.

I agree; I also like having the research day. In fact, this is the first college class I can remember that actually gave one. Great idea to model for our students too.
Ditto to Tea and Susan. It was a great day and it is a great thing to model for students. Tad
I want to second what Susan said about modeling. Sometimes we get so caught up in what we want to get done that we forget about how important it is to give student time to do it.
I don't know about you folks, but I used to feel guilty about giving up instruction time so students can work on their assignments. I don't feel that way anymore. Having the students productive is what it's all about.
